Selected Projects Stock Market Analysis System Company：HedgeTech Project Description: HedgeTech manages a $100mm hedge fund. We implemented a new system to download market data from data vendors, analyze the data

nightly, and present the results to management via a web browser. As architect for this project, I selected core technologies (Java, Hibernate, PostgreSQL) and specified all interfaces. I delegated tasks and reviewed code as it was submitted into source code control. Duration: Sep. 2004 – Present Team Size: 6 My role in the team: Architect Company：Taipei Insurance Association My role in Project: The website http://tia.org.tw is the mission critical platform for the Taipei Insurance Industry; every insurance company in Taipei uses it on a daily basis. The "e-sheet system" on the platform consolidates several dozen statements (reports) by collecting varied data about Taipei insurance Industry for an executive decision-support system. I wrote 8000 lines of HTML, 2000 lines of javascript, and 1200 lines of perl. I worked closely with the graphic artist on CSS for the site, and with the database team for SQL queries into postgreSQL.
