Provides and oversees a system for efficient service of patients referred for radiology services. Perform CT angiogram, MRI and special radiological procedures. Performing administrative duties within a hospital setting. Maintain Radiology Indent, consumption and make monthly statement Supervised Radiology Technologists and others junior staffs of Radiology make duty roster and maintain leave policy. Organizes the department, develops protocols/procedures for the efficient functioning of the team, coordinating with other departments. Implements recognized standards of practice in the department and evaluate technical/patient care practice using both formal and informal methods. Develops recommendations for the radiology manpower plan and programmed proposals for service changes. Develops and implements a competency-based orientation programme for new employees (technologists). Completes probationary, annual and pre-contract renewal performance appraisals, making appropriate recommendations and commendations discus with department coordinators. Investigates complaints about the department or its personnel, make incident report and submit department coordinator and takes appropriate action in accordance with hospitals policies.
