Working with 12 people on a J2EE application maintenance within the client’s computer department. Management Managed a team of 5 experienced engineers as deputy on the heart of the information system.
Had to deal with two different budgets : maintenance and project.
Developed a strong communication and comprehension between clients (commercial, support and accounting cells) and my team.
Interacted with front-end users and dealt with the priority from “low” to “red alert” (problem that needs to be solve in 4 hours)
Functional Acquired a strong functional experience in insurance (French system)
Acquired a very good knowledge in products and customers' needs: savings account and stock exchange management, creation of new products, financial transactions...
IT Environment Worked in a structured and urbanized data architecture.
Developed on one of the first three-tier J2EE insurance application (~20 000 man-day project in 2001) in France.
Performed the migration from Java 1.3 to Java 1.5

In charge of the development of a “framework live update” for customers (Vatican library, University library ...). A direct live update from the CVS server to the customer application.
Interviewed the developers and the future users about their needs and writing down the specifications of the applications. Realized the software design (Unified Process, Use Case, Merise) Developed the application in coordination with the IT Research and Dev. Team in C# .Net on IIS 6 with Team Foundation. Made all the units, applications and real conditions tests and deployment phases Formed the users to the application during 2 days.

July 2004 – Sept 2004 Lille, France
Developed a software for the management of the cities’ policy of the Nord-Pas-De-Calais area (recreate the workflow of administrative documents). This new application is based on an old mainframe application.
Interviewed the customer and the future users about their needs in the new application and the lack of the old application. Realized the software design (Unified Process, Use Case, Merise) for both Alicante and the customer. Developed in Java Swing using design pattern like DAO, MVC, Singleton, Factory. Prepared the Java Web Start pack for the deployment over at least 1000 computers.

Developed a software of EDM (Electronic Management of Documents) for the hospital of Arras, Amiens and Lille in Java Swing.
Interacted in the software design (Unified Process, Use Case, UML, Merise). Developed modules for the electronic signature of documents from the writing to the signature of the president of the hospital. Assumed the role of designer for the application.

Created a J2EE web application for the Computer Science Laboratory of Lille allowing easier management of users and easier communication between researchers. • Worked as architect in a 5 students team • Made weekly meeting to define the role of each member • Defined all the phases of the RUP (inception, elaboration, construction and transition) • Used Struts to implement MVC, EJB session to interact in a multi server environment as a web service, Hibernate for the data persistence.
