Office of Undergraduate Admission Stanford University 355 Galvez Street Stanford, CA 94305-6106 Dear Office of Admission, I am writing to demonstrate my interest in attending your university. Stanford has been a name I've known ever since I was in the 5th grade. Although I first found out about it through a simple Google search, I've done more extensive research in the recent years and I firmly believe that this school can help me in my educational endeavors to study Computer Science. It is no secret that Stanford is a prestigious college on the lookout for exceptional students. I believe that I would be able to succeed as one of your students due to my academic background and experiences. Enclosed in this document is my résumé, which contains such details. Besides the distinctions I've received from competitions, I'd like to note that these experiences as well as experiences I've had in the classroom helped me gain the skills needed in a competitive yet collaborative environment such as your own. If you accept me into your school, I will commit myself to achieving high academic standings, while making a difference in the surrounding community. I appreciate the time you have taken to review my cover letter and application. If you have any questions, concerns, or would like to schedule an interview, please contact me via email at [email protected] or via phone at (808)342-8170. Again, thank you for taking the time to review this document. Sincerely,     Angela Geronimo
