A program aimed at enhancing civic consciousness and defense preparedness in the youth by developing the ethics of services and patriotism while undergoing training in program/service components such as Reserve Officers’ Training Corps, Literacy Training Service, Civic Welfare Training Service but In Our NSTP we focused on Civic Welfare Training service. Civic Welfare Training Service (CWTS) – refers to the Program component or activities contributory to the general welfare and the betterment of life for the members of the community or the enhancement of its facilities, especially those devoted to improving health, education, environment, entrepreneurship, safety, recreation and moral of the citizenry and other social welfare services. (Uprotc) After our general orientation, in our first meeting in NSTP had the topic of Leadership and social responsibility in the morning session and National situation for the afternoon session. In the Leadership and social responsibility it has an objective to wake our minds to choose a great leader for our country it discussed in her the difference of a leader and a dictator and what a good leader and what is not, they also taught us our responsibility as a citizen of this country that we should get involved in the issues of our country, while in the National Situation the speaker talked about the Scarborough and other places owned by our country and our rights to it. They talked about the UNCLOS and our won case against china they also told us the possible effects of bilateral meeting of our president with the china’s leader. These sessions made me realize that we should get involved in our country because if we don’t do something the terrible event in the past may happened again. Culture and the arts, in this session I’ve learned that culture and arts aren’t the one that we should set aside the importance of it in our country is huge, in our identity, economy, health and well-being, education and society it is a wide range thing that we give importance more. In Public health talk, I’ve learned that we should be more conscious and aware with our surroundings, in the food and water that we buy outside if its clean or not, the different outbreaks such as dengue, the different preventive measures that we should do for us and our society free from sickness. Our right and the assistance that government will give when we get sick. Gender and cultural sensitivity are about the rights of every being or in short gender equality this seminar allows us to differentiate and understand more other genders. Accept and respect other human beings’ choice to have a peaceful relationship with other people. Entrepreneurship and financial literacy, it is importance that you had knowledge with

entrepreneurship and financial management so that you can contribute to the growing economy of our country. You can enhance your life status you can be a successful by having knowledge to the financial management and entrepreneurship. Peace and Issues concerns our country has a lot of issues that is a threat to our country’s peace. In order to maintain a peace community of course all of us should get involved stand with what’s right and start the peace with in you. Human Rights having knowledge with your rights will save you. We should treat others well because it is their right. Disaster Risk Management seminar is very helpful for us to know the right thing to do when there is a disaster occur and refrain from doing wrong to avoid more casualties. We should also care for others, we all know that when there’s a calamities we tend to be selfish and only saves our own lives but if you know you can’t help them when the times comes at least educate them today share with them your knowledge. These seminars only taught me to be more conscious and aware to your environment, have your stand to every issue, stand and do with what is right, don’t be selfish care for other citizen, be an advocate of cleanliness, have a clear vision for our country, be part in improving our country and our economy, maintain the peace, and be one for others. These seminars are very important because we gain knowledge and information from it, knowledge is a powerful thing that may save you from any harm. Let the knowledge grow don’t just keep it in yourself share it to others, so that this country will improve, and so its people lives. We have our rights but never forget our responsibilities. Start the improvement with In you and help other citizen to improve too. Through these seminars we can improve our lives our community and our country.
