Dismantling faulty transformer for joint inspection 5 MVA at repairers premises including all activities such as opeining of top cover, de-tanking of core and 6.3 MVA winding, separation of HV/LV coils, conducting of 8 MVA preliminary test required for assessment of repair 10 MVA work to be undertaken, dismantling core etc., in 12.5 MVA the presence of KPTCL authorised representative. 16/20 MVA

Repair and overauling of OLTC/Divertor switch including change of oil, lubrication and replacement of gaskets and other parts which are locally available

Spares for OLTC/Divertor switch (spares to be procured from the original manufacturers only)

Cleaning, Repairing and painting inside the Transformer Tank with hot oil bath and acid proof epoxy paint and painting outside the tank with enamel paint after thorough cleaning including the cost of materials including the painting of radiators at site/Firm.

Re assembly of Core and winding

Drying out the assembly of core and winding in oven/ vacuum chamber, till the specified insulation resistance values are obtained (including cost of materials and labour)

DESCRIPTION OF WORKS

5 MVA Tanking the assembly, giving connection, 6.3 MVA providing new gaskets and insulating materials 8 MVA conforming to relevant ISS, putting back the 10 MVA cover, tightening the fixtures, fixing the bushing 12.5 MVA etc., including the cost of all materials like Gasket, insulating materials, Bolts and Nuts etc., and labour. Other accessories at repairers work 16/20 MVA to facilitate the testing.

Filling of oil to the main tank and OLTC tank, filtering the oil including filtering till attainment of prescribed BDV valves including labour, filtering equipment along with accessories. The minimum BDA value shall be 50KV. Note: The Transformer oil will be supplied by KPTCL.

5 MVA a) Testing the transformer for routine tests as per 6.3 MVA IS 2026-1983 if repairs are carried out at 8 MVA Repairer's work. 10 MVA b) Testing the transformer for IR values, Voltage ratio at all Taps, Short circuit test, Magnetic 12.5 MVA balance, Magnetising current measurement at low voltage from HV & LV. Magnetising current 16/20 MVA measurement at rated voltage from LV side.
