GILDEN LODGE TERMS OF THE AGREEMENT 1. Check in is between 3pm and 9pm and check out is 10am. This is to allow for cleaning of

the cabin between guests. The premises shall be vacated at the expiration time and date of the agreement. The guests waive all rights to process if they fail to vacate the premises upon termination of this agreement. The guests acknowledge and agree that this agreement is for the transient occupancy of the property. 2. No smoking in the cabin - outdoors only please. No outdoor fires or fireworks. 3. Pets are allowed by arrangement provided they are well behaved. 4. A reservation deposit of 25% of the total rental charges is payable on booking This will include a $250 refunable security deposit which will be refunded after inspection of the property (within 7 days of your departure), provided the following provisions are meta. No damage is done to cabin or its contents, beyond normal wear and tear. b. All charges accrued during the stay are paid prior to departure. c. All keys & remote controls are returned. If you are paying by credit card, we will waive payment of the security deposit provided you agree that any charges or costs incurred can be charged to your card. 5. Cancellations - if you cancel 60 days or more prior to rental, we will refund any deposits paid. Within 60 days of rental, we will try to resell your dates- if we resell, we will refund the ful amount paid. If we are unable to resell, than any amounts paid are not refundable. Early departure does not warrant any refund of rent (unless we can resell). 6. Maximum occupancy- The maximum number of guests is 10. Please note that we do not accept youth groups (ie. Children without parental supervision) 7. No daily maid service - While linens and bath towels are included in the cabin, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We suggest you bring beach towels for visits to the lake. We do not permit linens to be taken from the cabin. 8. Any exceptions to the above mentioned policies must be approved in writing. 9. Storm policy/ road conditions – No refunds will be given for storms. We highly recommend four wheel drive and/or chains during the snow months. We do not refund due to road conditions. 10. The owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occur while on the premises or its facilities. The homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premises. 11. The guests shall not create noise or disturbance likely to annoy surrounding property owners. Creation of such disturbance shall be grounds for termination of this agreement whereupon the guests shall immediately be required to vacate the premises. No refund for unused days will be paid. 12. Guest agrees to pay all costs, including attorney fees, incurred by the owners to enforce this agreement. 13. Power outages are occasionally experienced which are beyond our control. No refunds or compensaton will be given for such outages. 14. The guests agree to not access any locked closets which may contain cleaning supplies or other chemicals which may be harmful, or to interfere with owners personal possessions. 15. There is a gas stove and a gas barbeque on the premises- if you feel at all unsure about the safe operation of these appliances, please ask for assistance. 16. If you take advantage of our concierge service, we cannot accept liability for any items purchased on your behalf. NOTE- we live in a separate apartment adjacent to the property, with a separate entrance from the lodge. This means that we are accessible 24/7 for any help you need or any issues that arise. During winter (when there is snowfall) we need to plow the driveway several times a day to keep the property accessible.
