RENAP Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

1. What are the requirements for RENAP membership? - Just drop by our office, 4A Hospital Bldg, Philippine Heart Center, East Ave. QC, and bring your PRC License. Membership fee is Php 300. For persons living outside Metro Manila, please email [email protected] 2. What are the requirements for the ACCREDITATION EXAM? - A nurse interested in taking the Accreditation Exam must be working in a dialysis facility or has already undergone a Dialysis training. Accreditation exams are held after every update, so make sure to attend the update first. Pls. bring your PRC License, IVT License and RENAP Membership ID. Accreditation Exam Fee is Php 550 3. What is RENAP's contact number and who do we look for? - Please look for Mark Panergo or Ms. Raquel Z. Tejada, contact number id 925-2401 loc 2474 4. How do we know if we passed the ACCREDITATION EXAM? - Wait for announcements, we will be posting it here in multiply, also in friendster and yahoo groups. 5. I passed the exam. How can I get my ID and certificate? - You can get your ID and certificate every RENAP Update. Prepare Php 100 for the ID and certificate.

CARDIO-RENAL Nurse Training Program

A five-week Cardio-Renal Course designed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide dialysis treatment and efficient care to renal patients. At the end of the course, participants should be able:      

To discuss the principles of Hemodialysis/Peritoneal Dialysis/CRRT; To operate hemodialysis machine/cycler/reprocessing machine and water system; To practice infection control in dialysis setting; To identify the renal patient needs based on a comprehensive assessment; To discuss the duties and responsibilities of a dialysis nurse; and; To formulate a nursing care plan based on the needs identified. Tentative Training Schedule for 2009 January 12 – February 13, 2009 February 23 – March 27, 2009 April 6 – May 8, 2009 May 18 – June 19, 2009 July 6 – August 7, 2009 August 24 – September 25, 2009 October 5 – November 6, 2009 November 9 – December 11, 2009 * Schedules are subject to change without prior notice.

Intended Participants: Registered Nurses Number of Participants: 25 Php 20,000.00 Fee: (Inclusive of ECG, BLS, ACLS, 2 scrub suits and 1 laboratory gown) ON A FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED BASIS (Requires at least 25% down payment.)
