Little Miss & Mr. Relay Cutest Baby Contest Who: Children from birth to 3 years of age. What: Little Miss & Mr. Relay Baby Contest The boy and girl who raise the most money will be crowned the 2009 Little Miss & Mr. Relay When: Sunday, May 17th with Crowning Ceremony during Closing Relay Ceremonies Why: All proceeds benefit the Relay for Life of Greater Auglaize County. Cost: $5.00 registration fee made payable to 2 P’s and a Pod Relay Team Registration deadline is Wednesday, May 13th. Participants are permitted to raise money anytime up until Saturday, May 16th at 8:00 p.m. All money must be turned in by May 16th at 8:00 p.m. at the Relay for Life event at Harmon Field at 2 Peas and a Pod Booth. Winners will be notified Saturday evening and crowned at closing ceremonies on Sunday, May 17th at 9 a.m. Photos will be displayed during Relay for monetary votes. Winners will receive crowns, sashes, trophies and other prizes. Fundraising packs will be sent once your picture, registration form and fee are received. American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Greater Auglaize County Luminaria Service will take place Saturday, May 16th, 2009 at 9 p.m.
For a minimum donation of $10.00 per luminaria, $50.00 per torch luminaria, you help light the way to find a cure and remember your family, friends & co-workers who have faced cancer. For a minimum $50.00 donation you may purchase a Torch Luminaria. After the Relay for Life, all keepsake torch plates will be made available for pickup by the donor. For every $50 worth of luminaria that your team sells, your team will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win the $$ from the luminaria sales during Relay. Sales are usually around $1000!!! All sales must be turned in by the May 11th Team Information meeting. Drawing will be Saturday, May 17, 2009 during closing.

Basket Auction at Relay
Earn easy money for your team by participating in the “Basket Auction” to be held Saturday, May 16 at 7 p.m. at Relay. Get your team together, find a basket and fill it with theme items of your choice. When your basket it auctioned off you will receive a percentage of what your basket sells for!!! Some examples might be: Movie basket with popcorn, movie and/or rental certificates. Pizza Basket with all the fixings to make homemade pizza. Crossword lovers basket filled with crossword puzzles. Sign up at Post office-$1.00 a chance to have your name drawn to win basket made up of flowers and Boyd Daffodil Bear. Drawing will be held on May 8th. Eleven different Post Offices are doing this to help benefit Relay.

Pictorial Cancellation:
On May 16 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. the Deliver A Cure team will be doing a Pictorial Cancellation for $1.50. Stop by the Post Office prior to the Relay to see the display of the cancellation that will be offered. • COST IS $1.50 PER ENVELOPE. • ENVELOPE CONSISTS OF PINK RIBBON PRINTED ON THE LEFT OF THE ENVELOPE WITH A BREAST CANCER STAMP APPLIED TO THE ENVELOPE. A CANCELLATION WHICH CONSISTS OF DELIVER A CURE WITH THE DATE OF MAY 16, 2009 WILL BE APPLIED TO EACH ENVELOPE. • THIS ENVELOPE CAN BE USED TO MAIL TO SOMEONE SPECIAL OR KEEP AS A KEEPSAKE.
