RESOLUTION Impeaching Sarah M. RagsdaleEli M. Reilly, President of the Associated Students, for malfeasance or the failure to discharge the powers and duties of office. 1
Resolved, That Sarah M. RagsdaleEli M. Reilly, Presi-
2 dent of the Associated Students, is impeached for malfeas3 ance or the failure to discharge the powers and duties of 4 office, and that the following articles of impeachment be 5 exhibited: 6

2 1 of the Associated Students, in maintenance and support of 2 its impeachment against herhis for malfeasance or the 3 failure to discharge the powers and duties of office. Article I

In herhis conduct while President of the Associated
6 Students, in violation of herhis constitutional oath faithful7 ly to execute the office of President of the Associated 8 Students and, to the best of herhis ability, to preserve and 9 protect the Constitution of the Associated Students, and in 10 violation of herhis constitutional duty to take care that the 11 laws be faithfully executed, has impeded the elections 12 process of the Associated Students, in that: 13

14 in a timely manner, members to the Commission on Associ15 ation Elections, as the Senate has lawfully provided for in 16 An Act entitled “To provide for the creation and duties of a 17 Com-mission on Elections” and in An Act entitled “To 18 establish a Code of Elections governing the conduct of 19 Association elections”, and by such conduct has impeded 20 the elections process of the Association by leaving offices 21 unfilled which, in the judgment of the Senate, are neces22 sary for the efficient management and execution of elec23 tions. 24
In all of this, Sarah M. RagsdaleEli M. Reilly has un-
25 dermined the integrity of herhis office, has brought disre•S. RES. 76-__ IS
3 1 pute on the Presidency, has betrayed herhis trust as Presi2 dent, and has acted in a manner subversive to the rule of 3 law and justice, to the manifest injury of the members of 4 the Associated Students. 5
Wherefore, Sarah M. RagsdaleEli M. Reilly, by such
6 conduct, warrants impeachment and trial, and removal 7 from office and disqualification to hold and enjoy any office 8 of honor, trust, or profit under the Associated Students.
