Volume: In Numeracy, we had learnt about volume. This task that I did was very easy finding out the measurement and procedure. I knew that volume is the formula of was length x width x depth (L x W x D). We could only use volume to a 3D shape because 2D shapes are flat but you can find how much is the volume but 3d is a shape due to that it is a popping out solid shape and it’s not flat. On that day our task was to find out the volume of the 3D shapes Mrs. Talaia has given to us. We had to draw out the shape and measure the box or item very carefully. This was very fun working with different people in my group when working out. I had learnt that another vocabulary for saying depth is breadth. Venn diagram (Yesterday and Today): In this piece of work we had to think what we had changed thing in the olden days to now for instance, in the past years they used candles but now we use light globes or lights. We collected these answer from our minds sharing them to the class and putting the information in a Venn diagram form. This task was okay to do due to that it was hard to think what they had to have I the olden days but easy for me to share information about what we have in the present.
