A
LOCATION Location are done by surfaces A, B and C C B B A

CLAMPING Clamping is done by T- bolt, V block and two rest plates
LOADING Loading is
done by placing the workpiece between the V block and rest plates, screwing up knurled cylinder
UNLOADING Unloading is easily done by unscrewing the knurled cylinder so that the workpiece becomes free
BACK PLATE The entire assembly is connected to the lathe through this back plate
FACE PLATE The entire fixture is mounted on this face plate
PLATE A The fixture parts can be assembled outside the machine which inturn reduces wastage of time
REST PLATE A It is made light weight by reducing the excess material since the operation rotation of the entire fixture
REST PLATE B The maximum area in contact with the workpiece compared to the area being machined leads to better location and clamping
V BLOCK T slot provided on it ensures a controlled movement
V BLOCK PLATES This plate is fixed to plate A with allen screws
SETTING BLOCK Required to set the cutting tool to the required position
KNURLED CYLINDRICAL KNOB Helps in easy loading and unloading of the workpiece
