Limit: One clothes washer rebate per residential electric LIPA customer. Qualifying clothes washer must be installed within the service area of LIPA. This rebate offer is available to residential customers of LIPA and may be subject to change without prior notice. This rebate may not be combined with any other utility offer. ENERGY STAR® qualified clothes washers save energy, save money, and help protect the environment. Join the national effort to help use energy wisely. Buy appliances that have earned the ENERGY STAR. Only products delivering the highest level of energy efficiency are awarded the ENERGY STAR from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the U.S. Department of Energy. This year LIPA has teamed up with the EPA to promote the most efficient ENERGY STAR qualified clothes washers on the market. For a limited time only, LIPA customers are eligible for $50 back on the purchase of eligible ENERGY STAR qualified clothes washers with a Modified Energy Factor (MEF) of 2.20 or higher and a Water Factor (WF) of 4.5 or less. These clothes washers are at least 75% more efficient than conventional models and are backed by the ENERGY STAR label.

The $50 Mail-in Rebate Get $50 back from LIPA on your purchase of an eligible ENERGY STAR qualified clothes washer. This rebate is good for purchases made January 1, 2008 through December 31, 2008. To receive your rebate, please fill out this form completely and mail it to the address below. Please include a copy of your dated sales receipt and/or invoice showing the manufacturer, model number, and price of the ENERGY STAR qualified clothes washer purchased, and a copy of your recent electric bill. Incomplete information will delay or disqualify your rebate. All rebate requests must be postmarked no later than January 31, 2009.
