Customer Relationship Management

For me Customer Relationship Management (CRM), is a method of management that is based around the wants and needs of customer. I think just about anyone who has entered a store or shopped online has encountered an organization or business that uses CRM. Management and sales teams are capable of analysing the wants and needs of their customers by using large software programs to compile customers previous purchases, reviews, and basic information. CRM databases also allow customer service teams to keep track of complaints and recommendations of customers. CRM programs can range from a small business using an excel sheet to large data bases of information in CRM software such as Sales force or Infusion Soft. By implementing a CRM, companies can fine tune their inventory and customer service around the customers. Also Customer Relationship Management is also used in some establishments like restaurants, and grocery stores and just about any company or organization that has a sales team, uses marketing tactics, or has a strong urgency to satisfy its customers especially their wants and their needs. Also some companies are able to track customers even closer through rewards programs. Some examples of companies that uses reward cards are, based on my experienced I have knowingly given my information to Starbucks coffee shop, Ace Hardware, and even Shakey’s pizza. The consumers are what keep the business up and running. It is important to understand the wants and needs of the customers to keep the business high in profit and in customer satisfaction.

What is Training

For me Training is intended to enhance or to build the skills that are needed for profession or for jobs. Training also has its specific goals of improving which is capability, capacity, and productivity of an employee. For this matter it may lessen the difficulties of one’s employee towards his/her job. This can also helps one’s employee to have an idea on how to make the organization more harmonious and profitable.

Training is nothing without the help of the Supervisors that knows how to helps what output his/her organization needs, and Training Director that knows how to develop his employees by implementing training programs. Training also has a method are to be followed which are appraisal, development centers, human resource audit, interviews, questionnaire, observation, business plans, desk research, group discussion, and also evaluations. Also there are training methods used in conducting training such as the OJT (On the Job Training), and Apprenticeship that involves following and studying a master at the trade on the job instead of in schools.

For me training is can be taught or developed at schools by joining different kinds of active organizations, and joining some important events related to the course such as, the HRT competition, Skills Olympics and many more. It can be used it in the future such as the OJT and joining or applying a work.

Boss vs. Leader

In an organization there would always be a person who is a boss or a leader that some employees may be worked with. But First, let me tell you the difference between a boss, and a leader. Let’s start first at the Boss, the Boss is very impersonal means showing no interest in individual’s feeling, always say’s I, uses people, inspires fear to his/her employees, takes credit his/her employees, say’s go, thinks short term, treat’s himself as a boss, and only focused on process. While in a Leader, a leader shows compassion to his/her employees by showing concern to others, instead of saying I he/she say’s we, a leader can develops people, a good leader can earns respect, gives credit, instead of saying go he/she says let’s go, thinks long term, a leader can be treated as your colleague, and lastly a leader is focused on people.

For me, I definitely choose a leader to be worked with because unlike the boss the leader can help you when you don’t know what to do, cheers you up when you are down, inspires you to do the task, willing to help his colleague, and also respect you as a colleague. Because being a good leader means it can handle employees well and by that they can help each other to make the company more successful than others.
