RATIONALE The HERALDO FILIPINO will be joining a campus journalism conference titled “Lasallian Schools Press Conference 2019: Sync or Sink: Integrating Print and Digital Media” with the aim to learn deeper about campus journalism through a series of talks from professionals in the field. The event is intended to allow past and future members of The HERALDO FILIPINO to deeply understand the impact of campus journalism in the emergence of the online platforms through the three days of discussions and to interact with fellow Lasallian student journalists. The said event’s date will be on May 29 to 31, 2019 at the De La Salle – College of Saint Benilde.

OBJECTIVES o To educate the HF staff members on the role of campus journalists in the emergence of digital media. o To encourage participation among old and new HF staff members with Lasallian campus journalists. o To share HF best practices on print and online through discussions with other Lasallian student journalists.
