Odour Perception and Identification
Instruction 1. In front of you there are ten covered bottles contain odorous substances commonly found in the home or workplace. 2. Examine one bottle at a time. 3. Bring the bottle to your nose, removed the cap, take 3 short sniffs and identify the odour. 4. If you cannot think of the exact name of the substance, try to describe something that this odour reminds you in space provided. 5. Repeat the sniffing procedure if you feel necessary (on one bottle), but remember your first impression is usually the best. 6. Allow time to rest after each sample.
