It tells what the company is providing to society.
A mission statement answers the question such as who we are? Why we are? what we do ?how we do it ?

Quality policy statement According to ISO 9000, Quality policy is the overall quality intentions and direction of organization as formally expressed by the top management. The quality policy is a guide for every one in the organization which says how they provide product or services to the customer.
