Greetings! We are the students of Bachelor of Broadcast Communication (BABRC 3-1) of Polytechnic University of the Philippines. In the fulfillment of our Communication Campaign subject, our class was tasked to organize a campaign which aims to widen the view of our target audience about a certain topic. Our group is comprised of positive body image advocates who are concerned about the current perception of teens about beauty and self-acceptance. Our campaign message “embrace your imperfections, perfectly” aims to resonate the fact that women can find the beauty in their individuality without the need to put high importance or competing for fabricated level of beauty and perfection standards the media has set today. In celebration of Women’s Month, our group aims to hold a communication campaign through a conference about the importance of having a positive body image entitled “2019 Body Image Conference: Overcoming Negative Body Image” on March 01, 2019 and we intend to hold this event inside our own campus for the safety of the participant. Hence, we would like to invite 100 female Senior High School students to become the participants of the said conference. We are inviting speakers and advocates who are passionate about this topic to participate in the event as well. We are very hopeful that you will extend your generous support to our group. This conference will be our final requirement for our subject, facilitated by Professor Prestoline Suyat.
