Public Space, Private Space, Other Space A group discussion moderated by Dr. Susan Lowish, lecturer in Australian Art at the University of Melbourne [Aboriginal land] is communal property. There are communal spaces such as the townships and roads and government-funded bodies, which are more like public space, and there are houses and other landholdings, which are more like private space.
