WHAT IS PROSTATE? 

The prostate is a walnut-sized gland that only men have. It is part of the reproductive system that makes the fluid that carries sperm.

WHAT IS PROSTATE CANCER? 

According to Merit Care Healthwise Centre, prostate cancer is the abnormal growth of cells in a man's prostate gland



Prostate cancer is made up of cells that do not grow normally.

WHO IS MAJOR RISK?    

Of course it must be man. Aged 40 and above. Family history Race

SYMPTOM OF PROSTATE      

Blood in the urine The need to urinate frequently, especially at night Weak or interrupted urine flow Pain or burning feeling while urinating The inability to urinate Constant pain in the lower back, pelvis, or upper thighs

THE DIAGNOSING OF PROSTATE CANCER 

Digital rectal examination (DRE) 



Prostate specific antigen (PSA) 



To check size, shape, and texture of the prostate To measure the blood level of the prostate

Biopsy. 

Removal of small pieces of the prostate to be examine

TREATMENT      

Watchful waiting Surgery Radiation therapy Cryosurgery Chemotherapy Hormonal therapy

PREVENTIVE METHODS    

Avoid smoking. Maintain and practice healthy diet. Stay physically active. See doctor regularly.

Prostate cancer usually affects men at age 40 and above. you should prevent it from now
