Ef fects of n atur al disa st er s Natural disasters destroy the environment. These disasters may cause loss of life and property. They also pollute the environment. Many buildings, bridge and roads get damaged. The agricultural land may also get affected.
EARTHQUAKE When the layers of earths crust slide over
each other, it causes earthquake. This is due to some explosions accrued within the earth.
FLOOD When heavy rain falls. Then river water comes out from the bank to plane area it is called flood. Flood occur when soil and vegetation cannot absorb all the water. These river floods often result of heavy Rainfall sometime combined with melting show. Coastal areas are flooded by usually tides.
DRAUGHT When Rain does not falls for a long time in
some areas on earth. Due to the fact shortage of water for corps, Human beings of Animal affected. This causes many problem in daily life. This station is called draught.
CYCLONE • It is caused due to low pressure in
the sea areas. Because of this a heavy rain falls, wind blow with very high velocity etc.
LANDSLIDE Heavy rains and unseasonable snows caused flooding and Landslide, a part of mountain falls on roads. It is called Landslide. Forest fire – forest fires, natural or human caused fires that burn forest vegetation. Surface fires- Which burn forest undergrout and surface litter. Crown fires – Which advance through the tops of trees or shurbs
