A Revolution in education system for universal harmony Latest science and technology has given many facilities and comforts to man. Today man has touched the sky by inventing gadgets and several techniques. But still there is misery in human life. In spite of such facilities and comforts man is not able live happily. Today man has progressed so much in the name of development that, he can walk on the moon, fly on clouds, live in or on water comfortably. But astonishingly not able live on earth, which is his natural phenomena. And it seems that he is far from his own nature. Today man has wealth but not happiness. He has property but can’t enjoy, has medicines but not health, has luxurious houses and comfortable beds but not sleep in eyes. In nutshell man exists but without life. Why it is so? Where the life of vehicle has slipped from the track? Where the humanity has lost? Once a poet said “Happiness is not in air-conditioned Impala cars but in a life where mingled with nature. With close contact of birds, animals, creatures, green fields, mountains, rivers, it is realized that these are a part of family given by nature. In ancient time it was co-existence with birds and animals that converted a simple man into a holy person ( Rishi). Today man has gone far away from nature by being busy in business of life. He has become selfish and it seems he is enemy of the nature. In the name of industrialization he is destroying the environment and converting fertile lands into futile. He is killing his kiths and kens for acquiring property. It is very essential to know as to from where from this attitude has attained Indian mind and from which time the change has taken place drastically. To know the reason of this we’ll have to understand the Indian social system of 17th century. At the end of 17th century India was occupied by Britishers, but they were unable to understand that how do an ordinary Indian citizen live with full contentment and confidence though he has little clothing, food and shelter. It was a big question for them. To investigate this the British Government forced to form a committee and surveyed village to village from the year 1802 to 1824. In the year 1835 Lord Michele announced in British parliament that, “I’ve visited all the world but nowhere I saw the country like India with high morals and a confident personality like a Hindustani. India is a Golden Bird, If we want this golden bird in our hands for ever, we have to attack on the spinal chord of the Indian philosophy, which is the base of Gurukul system.According to their plan for destroying the ‘GURUKUL SYSTEM’ which was foundation of Indian philosophy and culture, they started English medium Missionary schools and succeeded in molding the Indian mind into slavery from self confident. India got freedom from British Govt. but Indians are living a life style of slavery and narrow minded because of the education system they introduced in India. Today’s education is based on mere career oriented narrow minded. The word ‘Service’ is derived from Servant. An Indian IIT Gold Medalist in India eagerly excited for a package of American Microsoft Company. But see the fact that, what is the educational qualification of Bill Gates, master of this company. He had left the Harward University when he was student of class XII. It means that an IIT GOLDMEDALIST 1
will use his knowledge of engineering for development of a company whose owner is XII class failed Can there be any other stage of slavery than this? Dheeru Bhai Ambani and Henry Ford were illiterate. But all the Bachelors of Engineering Colleges and Management schools are mad for getting service in their companies. Now a days all parents want their children to study higher academy and get jobs in multinational cos. That is why all the educational institutes claim that success means getting good placement in several cos. In India parents think that children are their property and they want to fulfill emptiness in their lives with the children package. And this package system brought lot of differences in social environment. In this present world all the universities are capable of making good doctors, engineers, managers, lawyers etc. but not a human being. Today every man’s attitude is self centered and corruption is highly spreading in the society. The recent statement of Supreme Court that ‘Even God can’t save this country’ emphasis on narrow mindedness of the man.Due to economic crisis in October 2008 many multinational firms are helpless to decrease burden of employees. In Hyderabad itself thousands of engineers, employees of Airway companies are ejected. In China 25 lack jobs are in danger. After Iceland Pakistan is going to bankruptcy. And Pakistan is having only three and half year’s food stock. Once great scientist Einstein has told that, when the honey bees are getting missed in particular area, from then man will have food for another four years only. In west coast of America 60% and London 40% of honey bees are getting missed. The scientist says it is because of mobile phone towers. As a result of all this man will loose the mental balance and he will loot and kill others. The main cause of this crisis is present day education system, attitude of which is to encourage ambition and life of slavery. Discussing on this matter seriously, we have to bring a revolutionary education system in which there will not be pressure on the student and change mental attitude that education is not meant for job only but for the significance of life. A system in which a student will come out of university with full of confidence and as a human being. The Traditional education kills independent thinking and imitation makes the mind dull. Then it becomes not easy to face the circumference in daily life. Eagerness to get success, recognition, comfort and facility makes us, dissatisfied, uneasy and terrified. With increasing age heart and mind becomes dull. Then it happens that for want of comfort and joy we find a peaceful corner of life where there is no duel and we do not like to come out of that solitude. Fear of life, struggle and new experience destroys our adventurous feeling. We do not want to be differing from our neighbor. We have a false respect for proof and tradition. When we surrender to the circumstances without thinking about it the feeling of protest in us wipes out. There are two types of protesting, one violent which is only reaction against the system without understanding it. They protest against it but soon engage in new conservative systems and new delusions. It so happens that leaving one ideal we accept another, against which we’ll have to revolt again. Improvement needs more improvement. But there is one rational revolt that is not only reaction but comes with self conscience which is result of cautiousness towards one’s own ideas and feeling. Only then we can make our wit aware.
2
If we are getting education for distinction or good job then our life will be hollow. If we are educating for becoming great scientist or scholar then we shall bring destruction and sorrow to the world. In present culture we have distributed life in too many departments to learn a special technique or occupation. There is a deep and large meaning of life but if we don’t find this meaning then what is the aim of our education? We may be much educated but if there is no coordination between our feeling and ideas, our life will be incomplete, full of fear.Training brings efficiency but not perfection. Mind carrying past can not find ‘New’. So to know what true education is, purport of whole life span will have to be checked. A person who thinks in a certain way imitates some version. Existence can not be understood in principles. To understand life is to understand own self, this is starting and end of education, The capacity to see the original, the essential means “what is” is wisdom and to rouse this capacity in own self and others is education. Today’s education is making us clever and idealess. Intellectually this awakens us but internally makes us frustrated and dull, where there is no place for creation. Today’s education system is without love, it has been made according to industrialization and war. Man has become machine. If education takes us towards war, teaches us to destroy or to be destroyed. Is it perfect education? So it is very essential to bring revolution in education system, in which a person can understand his whole mental process and becomes sensitive and wise so that internal revolution may be possible. Social System can be changed by internal revolution and true change in us. In the process of change individual is important than system. Then peace and harmony can be established in society, country and in the world. So “Pragya Chaitnya Founfation Trust” has decided to take up the task to bring gurukul system for building characters like Swami Vivekanand, Mahatma Gandhi, Bhagwan Buddha etc. Chaitnya Guruji. and persons following him have decided to establish Gurukul system in Uttrakand, U.P., Rajasthan, Delhi and Andhra Pradesh immediately. In future India, children of this Gurukul system will be with complete development of personality. There will be peace in society and man will live a really free life. Women will live an equal life to men, not only in economic sense but in every sphere of life. Then this society will produce Kabir, Nanak, Mahaveer, Jesus Christ. This is the aim of P.C.F.T. Co-Operate in this trust by your all means.
