•Profile is on Marriott Singapore banquet to study and analyze the operational procedures and organizational structure and how it remains competitive in the Banquet field.
•To understand the facilities and customer services offered. •To study and analyze the threshold with that of similar ones. •To understand what are their success factors, and develop an idea of my own about the same. •Marriott International was formed in 1992 when Marriott Corporation split into two companies, Marriott International and Host Marriott Corporation. •Marriott Singapore also known CK tangs Marriott is a part of Marriott international, and the Banquet is a department that comes under Marriott Singapore.
An Introduction
•The department is located at the 2nd, 3rd and 5th floor of the hotel, and includes 9 elegant event rooms including the Grand Ballroom.

•The banquet manager is at the top of the organizational structure and he is the one who gives instructions to the banquet coordinator , asst. manager and to the supervisor. •Captains are the ones who carry out the instruction given out by the supervisors and there are station captains to assist the captains.

Concentrated on Industrial standards in contrast of Marriott’s effectiveness wedding events Food and Beverage standard includes testing of raw materials through out the manufacturing and serving process. A/V industrial standard includes providing whatever accessories as per mentioned in the BEO. A one waiter to one table was introduced to improve the customer service standards. Threepoint-system also is a part of this.
