Principles of Divine Healing Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. Healing in the Name Under the New Convenant (New Testament), God reveals Himself through Jesus Christ. In the Old Testament God revealed Himself by declaring who He is. He gave a name to one of his characteristics and attached that name to Himself. Yahweh (or Jehovah), YHWH is the covenant name of God.

ƒ Jehovah-Elohim: “The Lord Our God” (Genesis 2:4; Judges 5:3) He is God and God alone; just trust in Him for your healing. ƒ Jehovah-Jireh: “The Lord will Provide” (Genesis 22:14) He will provide everything you need for your healing. ƒ Jehovah-Rophe: “The Lord Who Heals” (Exodus 15:22-26) ƒ Jehovah-Nissi: “The Lord is My Banner” (Exodus 17:15) You will have victory over your sickness. ƒ Jehovah-M’Kaddesh: “The Lord who Sanctifies” (Leviticus 20:8) Set apart for holiness so He can get the glory over sickness. ƒ Jehovah-Shalom: “The Lord Our Peace” (Judges 6:24) You will have peace that you are healed despite any symptoms or any doctor’s report. ƒ Jehovah-Rohi: “The Lord Our Shepherd” (Psalm 23) He will guide you during your healing process. ƒ Jehovah-Tsidkenu: “The Lord Our Righteousness” (Jeremiah 23:5-6) Maintain your righteousness during your healing process. ƒ Jehovah-Shammah: “The Lord is There” (Ezekiel 48:23) You are not alone; God is there for you during your healing.
