PRESSRELEASE

Montreal, Qc - From the producers of the annual Berkley B1 Canadian Bass Open, comes a new professional bass fishing circuit in Quebec. Introducing the Castrol SUPERBASS Tournament S e r i e s , Q u e b e c ’s p re m i e r professional bass fishing trail. In 2010, SUPERBASS will visit three of the most revered bodies of water in Quebec in search of giant bags of bass and the crowning of a new championship team. The challenge begins in Lachine, on the waters of Lake St-Louis and Lake of Two Mountains in June, famous for it’s early season bite and B1 notoriety. The second stop takes on the giant smallmouth bass of Lake StFrancis in July out of Valleyfield,

and a potential shot at a colossal 30lb limit. Round three embraces the largemouth filled environment of the Ottawa River, launching from the picturesque setting of Hull in August. Finally, the series comes to a conclusion as the fourth and final two-day “classic” showdown in September will only be revealed at the end of the season, thus creating a level playing field for all competitors. The Castrol SUPERBASS Tournament Series will be comprised of 50x teams of two anglers locked-in. Registration fees are set at $2,000.00 per team and only 30x will make the cut to qualify for the “classic”. “The concept and premise of the SUPERBASS Series is a direct

response to feedback we have gathered from anglers since the inaugural Berkley B1 this past June.” states Ben Woo, president, Woodoo Marketing Inc. “There was an undeniable demand for an elite level competitive series in Quebec, and Woodoo is honoured to be in the position to provide such a platform moving forward.” With a minimum first place cash prize of $5,000.00 per qualifying event and a grand cash purse of no less than $12,500.00 at the “classic”, the Castrol SUPERBASS Tournament Series is positioned to be one of the h i g h e s t p r o fi l e fi s h i n g competitions in Quebec history.
