2007 Derbi: 5th in championship. Sheldon produced some of the fastest laps during 2007. The first 4 riders all rode in the Derbi championship before and Sheldon were the fastest rider of the “new” entrants. Sheldon also attended the RedBull MotoGP rookies’ selection in 2007 to gain experience in international racing. As a team we now know what is expected and will endeavour to attend the selection again in 2009.
