What is the topic? Does it seem interesting within the first minute? What mathematics does it involve? Was an example used to make the concepts clear?

Is the appearance of the presenter in any way distracting? Did they use hand gestures? Were they effective? Did they move around? Was it effective? Did you find yourself watching them more than listening to their words? Did they use eye contact? Did they vary eye contact to include all the audience? Did they smile?

Did they use short, simple sentences? Were the words they used simple enough? Did they explain jargon? Too many 'ums'?

Visuals

Did they use the board? Was their boardwork easy to read? Did they use any props? Did they write too much? Too little? Was the writing easy to read? Did they use diagrams? Were they useful?

Did they finish within the time limit?

Could you hear the speaker? Were they too loud? Did they vary the volume? Did they vary their tone?  Was their pronunciation clear?
