2 Prerequisites This section contains information on the documentation, tools, equipment, and conditions required for the installation procedure.

2.1 Documentation Make sure that the following documents are read and understood: Personal Health and Safety Information System Safety Information Transportation and Storage

2.3 Equipment The instructions in this document describe the installation or use of the following hardware:            

2.4 Conditions The conditions in this section must be fulfilled before starting work. 2.4.1

Before Going to the Site

Before going to the site, make sure of the following:    2.4.2

Site access permission is received. Documents stated in the first part of Section 2.1 are available. All tools and instruments are available.

Before Starting the Installation

Before starting the installation, make sure of the following:   

The site is prepared according to the Site Installation Documentation. The ordered hardware is available. The -48 V DC or AC power supply is installed and tested. Note: The DC power supply must be of SELV type, which provides reinforced insulation from AC-mains.

 

   

The site grounding system is installed and tested. Either of the following alternatives must be installed and tested: o A main switch and an external fuse o A circuit breaker The antenna system is installed, labeled, and tested. The site material is installed and checked as specified in the relevant site material installation instruction. The transmission cables are labeled. The optical cables are labeled.
