Preface

Teams, is the main focus in this project. It is the effective team creation and working that will have its impact in organization for the high performance. The entire topic of this work submitted is going to emphasize on the various issues of the teams.

Now, the need for team arises whenever any organization has certain targets. So we have highlighted the establishment of goals and the ways to attain it. For attaining goals four pillars of management i.e. Leading, Planning, Controlling and Organizing are essential.

We have highlighted the difference between Groups and Teams. Also there are two type’s teams that are traditionally accepted i.e. formal and Informal teams along with the High Performance teams. But as per the current scenario there are four types of teams in an organization i.e. problem solving teams, self managed team, cross-functional team and virtual teams. After that we have studied the important stages of team development.

This is not the end as it is not the team but it is the effective team that is going to give high performance. So, we need to create effective teams for the organization. In this we need to focus on various factors which are discussed to the point in the work submitted.

At the last the various instructions are mentioned in the last chapter that will give the steps for any team to carry out their work in an organization to the best level.

So, the entire project will cover on the point that how teams are increasingly becoming the primary means for organizing work in business firms and in our day-to-day life which is supplemented by a proof.
