What is the biggest question in your life today? Whose voice are you listening to?

1

Ascribe to the LORD, O mighty ones, ascribe to the LORD glory and strength. 2 Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name; worship the LORD in the splendor of his holiness. 3 The voice of the LORD is over the waters; the God of glory thunders, the LORD thunders over the mighty waters. 4 The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is majestic.

5

The voice of the LORD breaks the cedars; the LORD breaks in pieces the cedars of Lebanon. 6 He makes Lebanon skip like a calf, Sirion like a young wild ox. 7 The voice of the LORD strikes with flashes of lightning. 8 The voice of the LORD shakes the desert; the LORD shakes the Desert of Kadesh.

9

The voice of the LORD twists the oaks and strips the forests bare. And in his temple all cry, "Glory!" 10 The LORD sits enthroned over the flood; the LORD is enthroned as King forever. 11 The LORD gives strength to his people; the LORD blesses his people with peace.

For the word of the Lord is right and true; he is faithful in all he does. By the word of the Lord were the heavens made, their starry host by the breath of his mouth. For he spoke and it came to be; he commanded, and it stood firm.

What is God telling me regarding that big question in my life right now?

Offer praise to God

Psalm 69:2969:29-31 “I am in pain and distress" distress" I will praise God’s name"”

Psalm 71:7, 14 “I have become a portent to many" but as for me, I will praise you more and more.”

Sing joyfully to the Lord, you righteous; it is fitting for the upright to praise him.

The righteous has plenty of reasons to praise God.

The next time you hear the voices of depression and dissatisfaction, remind yourself yourself of what God has done for you in the past.

Incline your heart to the only voice that matters – God’s.

Humble yourself before God. God.

Expect to hear from God.

Actively search for the answer.

Respond to the answer.

 20

We wait in hope for the LORD; he is our help and our shield. 21 In him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in his holy name. 22 May your unfailing love rest upon us, O LORD, even as we put our hope in you.

I have nothing to fear. Isaiah 43:1-2; Psalm 81:13-14

My plans will be in line with the plans of God for me. Ps 33:10-11; Psalm 37:23; Prov. 3:5-6

My success is definite. Ps 33:16-17; Psalm 33:12; Joshua 1:8; Prov. 21:21

No person is saved from sleepless nights, loneliness, or depression by the size of his bank account; No person escapes sickness by his great strength nor by his great doctor. A rich/beautiful/popular person is vain hope for deliverance, Despite all his riches/beauty/popularity, it cannot save.

Because God said so, I can rest assured.
