The competitions are carried out in accordance with the official rules of the Croatian Orienteering Federation. Every participant takes part at his own risk. Electronic punching system SportIdent will be used. After the competitions Splitbrowser and RouteGadget will be available for analysing. Maps will be made according to IOF standards. First aid will be available in the finish areas.

Competition will partially take place in the same area where Croatian and Slovenian Championships in MTBO Sprint for CRO-SLO League, within the 1st ORIENTEERING TRIANGEL, were held in 2007

The map is expanded in the area of the Jelačićka forest, in beautiful environment, at the location of the new Varaždin Sport Hall which hosted this year's World Handball Championship .
