Remarks
Joan, My comments; a. 312 extra postal voters were created by RO, 141 for N46 Tanjong Papat electoral roll and the other for N45 Elopura. b. The Registered voters listed in the electoral roll, 285 for N46 Tanjong Papat and 19 for N45 Elopura. Therefore, it has a total of 616 postal votes for the whole of P186. c. Every postal voters need to cast 1 vote for parliament and 1 for the state. d. N46 Tanjong Papat has a 100% turn out which also mean 100% turn out for P186. I noticed 3 voters in the electoral roll having address in New Zealand. This needs your further investigation. e. Since every postal voter had to cast two votes, judging by the unreturned postal votes of N45 Elopura – 96 and P186 – 55 which means there are 41 postal voters who did not cast the parliament votes. This proof, no one was there to ensure the postal voters must cast their 2 votes at the same time.
