Prepositions ‫حروف اضافه‬ Prepositions are a class of words that indicate relationships between nouns, pronouns and other words in a sentence. Most often they come before a noun. .‫ و دیگر لغات در یک جمله میباشدهستند‬, ‫ ضمایر‬, ‫حروف اضافه یك صنف از لغات که نشاندهنده ارتباط بین اسامی‬ .‫حروف اضافه بیشتر مواقع قبل از یک اسم واقع میشوند‬

The good news is that they never change their form, regardless of the case, gender etc. of the word they are referring to. ‫جنسیت و غیره حروف اضافه ایکه به یک لغت‬,‫صرفنظر از موقعیت‬,‫خبر خوب این است كه هرگز شکل شان تغییر نمیکند‬ .‫بر میگردند‬

Prepositions are classified as simple or compound. ‫ساده و ترکیبی‬,‫حروف اضافه طبقه بندی شده اند مانند‬ Simple prepositions are single word prepositions - across, after, at, before, between, by, during, from, in, into, of, on, to, under, with and without are all single word prepositions. .‫حروف اضافه ساده حروف تک کلمه ای )لغتی( هستند‬ For example:•

The book is on the table.

Compound prepositions are more than one word - in between and because of - are prepositions made up of two words - in front of, on behalf of - are prepositions made up of three words. ‫ بعضی از حروف اضافه فوق از دو لغت و بعضی از سه لغت تشکیل شده‬.‫حروف اضافه تركیبي بشتر از یک لغت هستند‬ .‫اند‬ For example:•

The book is in between War and Peace and The Lord of the Rings.



The book is in front of the clock.
