Dear Friend: On behalf of all of the members and directors of the Portuguese Sporting Club of Perth Amboy, I would like to thank you and your institution for your support with our Soccer program. Our program is expanding to include a junior team for children under the age of seventeen and a senior team which will include players thirty years and older. With these additional teams comes additional costs, and as you know, our organization consists of volunteers. We do not operate a business for profit rather it is a cultural club which tries to develop and encourage cultural and social activities. I’m writing to you today to ask for your support in our annual fundraiser which will take place on November 21, 2009. This fundraiser will include a dinner dance where we will be introducing our current teams and all the people and business that have contributed to the success of our teams. Also we will be displaying our championship trophy of the Garden State league cup, won by our team last year. Your support will not be forgotten and will always be appreciated.
