What are factors that can disturb our research process? Explain in brief!

Actually all of the students can submit their work on time, but sometimes there are some students that submit their work late. It is because their research process was disturbed by some factors. The first factor that can disturb our research process is we are too lazy to do it; it can be because the work is too hard, and so we are lazy to try to do it, or because we are prefer to play than do the work. The second one is there are so many project, so we don’t have enough time. The third factor is at the time we want to do the research process, we have some course, so our time to do it decrease. The fourth factor is sometimes we don’t have internet facility in our home, so we can’t find the information easily. And the last one is sometimes we don’t know what the teacher actually asked we to do, or we are misunderstanding about the work.

What are the possible solutions?

Actually we can solve all the factors that can disturb our research process. For the first factor, we can solve it by try to leave out our laziness, because our work can be done is depend from ourselves; if we are lazy, then our work can’t be done on time. The solution for the second factor is we can manage our time to do all of the work; for example we can do the work one week before we submit it, or when the teacher asked we to do it, on that time we directly do the work; so even though there are many works, we can do all of it on time. For the third factor, we can solve it also by manage our time like solution for number two, because actually the main problem for factor number two and three are same. For the fourth factor, if we don’t have internet facility in our home; we can solve it by find the information for our work in school; so when we are at home, we just only summarize the information that we get. And for the last factor, if we don’t understand about the work, we can ask the teacher on the break (first break or second break if the teacher don’t busy), also can be after school; and if we still don’t understand; we must keep ask to the teacher until we understand what must we do with our work.

The work that showed I have applied research and information skills are Art Project (with Mr. Anthony), and Biology Project (with Mr. Marisi). In art project, first we must choose our topic (topic about painting technique like cubism, pop art, etc), then we must choose one artist that work based on that technique, and we must research about the artist, we must find what is his/her characteristics, how he/she do their work, and what does she/he use to make their work. Mr. Anthony gives us 3 weeks to do the project, and we research all of the information at the library, because it needs internet facility; and after 3 week, we must present our work by use PowerPoint; and we present it on group. In biology project, first the entire groups that already divided get one topic about vegetative reproduction in plant (because vegetative consist of many types), and my group get topic about cutting. After that, we must research about how the vegetative reproduction happens, what are the characteristics of the plants, and what is the example of the plant; actually it is same with art project, but to do this project we just have one week; and after one week we must present it with our group also use PowerPoint.
