The cartoon has a crowd of people rooting the participants on, a path going to the white house. The 4 candidates are literally running to be president. Abe Lincoln is the tallest of the 4, and shows him taking a much bigger leap than the rest. 3. I think the cartoon was drawn to make fun of Lincoln’s height compared to the other participants, and how his stature might give him an unfair advantage. 4. “A Political Race” and Lincoln jumping over the other participants. 5. I agree with the cartoon, Lincoln is really tall, and people might of seen that as making them feel more safe, a person bigger than them being president.
