Dear Nichole We saw each other With soulful eyes I thought we were meant For each other In spite of obstacles You gave me hope With the coy display of affection But you took it away Why hast thou forsaken me? You showed me the glittering light Of authentic love But you took hope away Why hast thou forsaken me? Because of your cruelty With deceitful cues mistook For the invitation of romantic love You kicked me to the curb Like I’m a nobody You rejected me As love itself rejected me Why hast thou forsaken me?

You have given me hope I seek a sweet and empathetic companion That gives bliss and hope But you turned me away Because I’m a nobody Because I do not believe in faith Which you revere with the preferred man You have given me hope Only to turn me away Because I’m a nobody Because I’m a poor man While you prefer the best mate to Make a new life prosper together You alluded hope Only to destroy it Because I’m a nobody My self-esteem is fragile You turned me away And murdered my heart Because you knew that You cannot accept me Because I’m a nobody You have hurt me to The depth of my soul My pain deepens to bear The scar of failure Because you rejected me For being a nobody You murdered my heart

How can I forgive you For deceiving me With your seductive eyes Only to take away hope You gave me a reason to believe That you might have loved me But you did not Because you lied Your deceit has pained me Because I thought I saw a love That came along at last To show me soul love where It was not possible Yet you destroyed my faith Because you were careless With seductive eyes That hurt a man by deceit Optimism vanquished My bitterness grows Love has rejected me Diminished faith in humanity No more love No truth and harmony All lies Love has rejected me To suffer everlasting pain Of existential deprivation No hope and no love Deprivation so complete A man becomes a beast But I must forgive you Even though I suffer penance Of painful existence Because you conjured love Only to vanish hope With intolerable cruelty
