The Waterways Project of Ten Penny Players, Inc. presents

Poetry in Silver Lake Park Sunday, August 9 2:00-4:00pm Celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Waterways Project publishing program and its first staten island event.* Come Read or Listen to a Poem at Silver Lake Park find a poem among the many publications on display at the event. There will be no amps or microphones to interfere with the pleasure of quietly enjoying poetry with others. Small groups will cluster under the trees to read poetry to each other. Choose to read from the Waterways Project’s publications or bring a favorite or original poem of your own.

*On July 21, 1979 the Waterways Project of Ten Penny Players presented a small press poetry bookfair and poetry reading on Stapleton Pier 13.
