PLEDGE for the MORE THAN JUST MUD MiNiFLiCK Contest

In the creation of my MiNiFLiCK, I pledge to: 1) Obtain permission if I wish to enter onto or film private property. 2) Minimize my impact on the habitats of the Tofino Mudflats (mud, water, rocky intertidal, forest) by leaving only footprints, staying on trails, not damaging habitat, etc. 3) Minimize my impact on wildlife (birds, mammals, fish, amphibians, invertebrates, etc) by not purposefully disturbing or damaging any populations or individuals. 4) Ensure that if I handle live animals (slugs, intertidal snails, shore crabs, ghost shrimp, etc), it will not result in any harm to them and each animal will be returned to its original location as quickly as possible (i.e. ghost shrimp are re-buried in same location, intertidal rocks are carefully turned back over, slugs are returned to location they were found, etc). 5) Not remove any living animals or plants from their habitats.
