WELCOME! We are delighted to see our friends and supporters. We encourage you to invite your family, friends and co-workers to walk and collect pledges. Here are some suggestions for getting donations:       

Remember that even if someone does not give a donation, you will at least have an interesting and useful discussion in support of The Dam. Collect as many donations as you can beforehand and pay them at registration. Remember that every donation counts, no matter how large or small. Be warm, friendly and cheerful when asking for donations. Approach your employer or company about matching your pledges. Don’t become discouraged if someone doesn’t donate, there are more people you can ask. Tax receipts are available, but please mark down when a donor requests one. Tax receipts will be automatically issued to any donation of $15.00 or more.


