Introduction What is SimJump? SimJump is a small government simulator. By that it means like a town far out in the wilderness. Not a lot of communication with the outside world. But SimJump takes place in the cold void of space, a place easily described by a quote from The Princess Bride, “Then no one will hear you scream!”. It will be best to keep you hostile actions to yourself because as this simulation will take place in a time of where both the veritable climax and darkest age of humanity reside. SimJump is a System. Meaning it's nothing without a Campaign. The campaign is a story that works on the mechanics of the system. The campaign you will be playing is called Deep Space Mining. In Deep Space Mining, you will be parted up into groups. A test you take will give you some more information about what your character is. The test is actually two different parts. One is the Bartle Test of Gamer Psychology, a actual test created by Richard Bartle. A man who created one of the predecessors to Runescape or World of Warcraft. The other is a test that is more designed for what you will be doing. It will also be shorter then the 30 question Bartle Test. If you don't finish you can leave it with me and I'll keep it until you have time tomorrow.

Getting Ready The Bartle Test of Gamer Psychology mentions the word MMORPG quite a bit. MMORPG stands for Massively Multi-player Role Playing Game. Massively Multi-player means that a lot of people play the it. Role Playing Games is similar to the Pokemon games. You get items, money, and generally advance. So MMORPG is kind of like a giant Pokemon with a bunch of players. Now I will pass out the Bartle Test.
