Lorrayne Pinza Dear Mr. Soehren,
I am contacting you in regards for an internship at your company, Soehren Design & Devel-
I am currently a Interior Design student at Washington State University and about to fin-
opment, LLC, with the possibility of a full-time job in the future.
ish my first year with Interior Design as my major. I have taken several American Sign Language courses so that I can communicate with those who are deaf or hard of hearing. I have also taken drafting, sketching, and online media courses that will benefit my work that I could do for your
company. My floral design activities have taught me the benefits of color theory and harmonies that reflect in my decorating abilities.
Lastly, I would like to thank you for taking the time to read my resume and considering me
for a future employee in your company.
Sincerely, Lorrayne Pinza

The design intent for this project was to create a quilt pattern out of different images that were placed into a quilt template.
The concept behind the images was to take different images that showed visual texture and create a appealing
quilt pattern out of them. In this design, the four corners were created out of an image of clouds that was slightly
distorted in color. The four areas between each corner box was created from an image of a bison that also had the
color distorted along with pulling the texture of the fur into a closer view. The four pinwheel shaped areas right in
the middle were created from an image of a beach sunset where the color was removed and slightly distorted. The
last four sections were created from an image of tree that was abstracted from its original image. Thus creating the quilt pattern that is rich in textures.
