Narrated by Ibn 'Umar: Allah's Apostle said: Islam is based on (the following) five (principles): 1. To testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and Muhammad is Allah's Apostle. 2. To offer the (compulsory congregational) prayers dutifully and perfectly. 3. To pay Zakat. (i.e. obligatory charity) 4. To perform Hajj. (i.e. Pilgrimage to Mecca) 5. What is Tawheed? Muslims and even most kuffar believe in God (Allah). But the Muslim’s belief in Allah is the belief in Tawheed What is Tawheed?
Tawheed basically means the Oneness of Allah. There is only 1 true God, and that is Allah. Tawheed is made up of three parts:
Tawheed Ar-Ruboobiyah Allah is the Creator of everything
Tawheed Asmaa wa Sifaat Allah has the best names and qualities. No one else has these qualities. Examples: Allah is:
