St Christopher’s Fellowship, a leading charity that helps homeless young people, was looking to increase their supporter base to strategically realign their income structure, and not be so reliant on public contracts.
A reciprocal recruitment programme was initiated where supporters’ names were swapped with other like-minded charities. They were then mailed with a highimpact direct mail pack illustrating the importance of the refuge provided by St Christopher’s to young people suffering physical and mental abuse in their own homes.
The rolling programme achieved a very good percentage response and an impressive ROI. Over a 48 month contract we were able to increase their supporter base four-fold from 4,000 to 16,000 supporters. This unrestricted income could then be used to fund new projects.
