Review the report and recommend action of the operational safety committee. Take Action as deem necessary. Review periodical consideration of trends and progress. Approval of Expenditure. Approval of major changes in safety organization and of activities affecting matters of policy of the company. Decide matters on engineering revision, repair, replace, and installation of new machineries, removal of unsafe materials, purchase of labour saving machineries ( automation Policy), expansion programmes,removal of health and environment hazards etc

The Site GM The safety officer HR representative Chief security officer Supervisors/superintend of all departments Safety Inspectors Foremen of all departments Supporting clerical staff Responsibilities of the operational safety committee a) The chairman of this committee will directly report to the executive safety committee. b) To review the actions on the report of the safety officer and act as per his recommendation. Review accident investigation reports submitted by the supervisors, periodically check all authorized safety procedures and their proper functioning, approval of proposed new construction and installation of equipments from the safety point of view. c) Hear the grievances/constraints faced by the safety personnel and redress them if minor in nature. d) Co-ordinate with all departments heads for organizing training programmes for personnel including induction and refresher courses. e) Implement Decisions of executive Safety Committee f) Review the weekly, monthly accident reports, master sheet, working sheet and accident summery furnished by the safety officer and take remedial measures where ever feasible and recommend to the executive committee for action.
