Presentations will be made during 50-minute breakout sessions. The work or plans described should address one or more of the conference themes, which are: • Service-Learning and Democratic Engagement Innovative implementation of service-learning towards the cultivation of caring and creative democratic citizens and the advancement of democracy in educational institutions, communities, and society. • Community-University Partnerships Best practices in engaging and sustaining reciprocal, collaborative partnerships focused on addressing community issues. • Think Globally, Act Locally Incorporating lessons from global poverty-reduction programs into service-learning courses and projects that address local needs.
