Description BOLT is an application which processes all the orders coming into D&B through various order entry systems.BOLT is the heart of the back-office applications. Transaction records from several other systems come into BOLT and get processed. BOLT feeds to several other systems such as AR, Quantum , GL etc. The end user creates the offers at the front end and further processing takes places through the following steps explained The orders are inputted from the mainframes to the BPE for the further processing BPE (BOLT Production Engine) has primarily two responsibilities 1) Change the product codes from 4 digits to 14 digits .2) Mapping of product codes and dropping of non chargeable products. After processing the orders, the orders are inputted into the BOLT for final pricing and invoicing. Roles and Responsibilities: 1. Involve in the Design and Coding. 2. Estimating the requirements. 3.
