Rows 2, 4, 6 and 8: Work in ribbing as established.

SLEEVES With straight needles, cast on 42 sts. Work in ribbing same as back for 6 1/2”, end on WS. Work in St st, inc 1 st each side every 2 1/4(2 1/4-1 1/2-1 1/4-1)” 6(6-8-1013) times – 54(54-58-62-68) sts. Work even until sleeve measures 21” from beg, end on WS. Shape Raglan Cap: Bind off 4(4-5-5-6) sts at beg of the next 2 rows – 46(46-4852-56) sts. Next Row (RS): Work 2 sts in Seed St, k to last 2 sts, work 2 sts in Seed St. Following Row: Work 2 sts in Seed St, p to last 2 sts, work 2 sts in Seed St. Rep these 2 rows 5(5-6-5-5) times more, then rep Next Row once, end on RS. Next Row (WS): Work 2 sts in Seed St, p20(20-21-23-25), place marker, p2, place marker, p to last 2 sts, work 2 sts in Seed St.

FINISHING Sew raglan caps to raglan armholes. Sew side and sleeve seams, reversing sleeve seams over lower 3 1/2” for foldback. Neckband: With RS facing, using straight needles, beg at right front edge, pick up and k80(80-84-88-92) sts around entire neck edge. Row 1 (WS): P3, k2, * p2, k2, rep from * to last 3 sts, end p3. Row 2: K3, p2, * k2, p2, rep from * to last 3 sts, end k3. Rep these 2 rows until neckband measures 3”, end on WS. Bind off in ribbing. Left Frontband: With RS facing, using straight needles, beg at top of neckband, pick up and k145(145-147-149-151) sts along edge of neckband and left front edge. Row 1 (WS): P1, * k1, p1, rep from * across. Row 2: K1, * p1, k1, rep from * across. Rep these 2 rows until frontband measures 1 1/4”, end on WS. Bind off in ribbing. Right Frontband: Beg at lower left front edge, work same as left frontband for 1/2”, end on WS. Buttonhole Row (RS): Work 6(6-4-5-6) sts, bind off 2 sts, * work until there are 20(20-21-21-21) sts on RH needle after bound-off sts, bind off 2 sts, rep from * 5 times more, work to end. Following Row: Work in ribbing as established, cast on 2 sts over each pair of sts bound off on previous row. Complete to correspond to left frontband. Sew on buttons
