Reyli Barba graba canción con Franco de Vita MEXICO (Notimex) — El cantautor mexicano Reyli Barba anunció la víspera que dentro de dos semanas sacará a la venta su primera producción discográfica como solista, que se denominará “Reyli en la Luna”, y donde interpreta una canción a dueto con el venezolano Franco de Vita.
En entrevista con la prensa, el compositor aseguró que está satisfecho por su trabajo y por su próximo lanzamiento musical, pues “es un momento que he esperado desde hace mucho tiempo y por el que trabajé arduamente”. Durante ese acontecimiento firmó autógrafos a los cientos de
admiradores que estuvieron presentes y Reyli indicó que el número que grabó con Franco de Vita se titula “Nos Quisimos”. Asimismo explicó que lo anterior fue una casualidad, porque el cantante suramericano llegó de visita a los estudios de grabación y “simplemente cantamos y así quedó”.
Los Backstreet Boys reaparecerán en México MEXICO (AP) — El grupo estadounidense Backstreet Boys volverá a México en octubre en espera de refrendar su poder de convocatoria que en su debut en el 2001 reunió a unos 165,000 espectadores. El quinteto vocal integrado por Nick Carter, Kevin Richardson, A.J. Mc Lean, Howie Dorough y Brian Littrell, actuará el 15 de octubre en el foro del Palacio de los Deportes, informó el miércoles un comunicado de la empresa Ocesa, que organiza el evento. En marzo del 2001, año en que el grupo hizo un paréntesis para dedicarse a proyectos individuales, colmó durante tres noches consecutivas el foro Sol de esta ciudad en un logro extraordinario, señaló. Vuelto a reunirse el año pasado, el grupo que ha logrado ventas de al
menos 70,000,000 de discos se mantuvo inmerso grabando uno nuevo, próximo a su lanzamiento y que dice el anuncio estrenará ante sus fans mexicanos. “Los cinco caballeros del pop estadounidense convertirán el foro en un volcán en erupción con sus energéticos y animados temas que los han convertido en uno de los grupos mas avasalladores del género”, afirmó Ocesa. Agregó que el plantel animará a la concurrencia con sus clásicos “I Want It That Way”, “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back)”, “As Long As You Love Me”, “I’ll Never Break your Heart”, “The call”, “The one” y “Shape of my heart”, entre muchas otras. Las entradas se pondrán a la venta a partir del 3 de septiembre.

SAN JUAN — A third paternity test has confirmed that Marc Anthony didn’t father a child with a Cuban dancer as she has claimed, the singer’s lawyer said. Elizabeth Leyva, who lives in Miami, brought a paternity lawsuit in a Florida court, alleging that Anthony is the father of her son, who was born late last year. They appeared together last year at Jay-Z’s concert at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Kelly, whose real name is Robert Sylvester Kelly, faces 14 counts of child pornography in Chicago and has pleaded innocent. In March, prosecutors in Florida dropped all 12 child pornography charges against Kelly, 37, after a judge ruled that photos allegedly showing the R&B singer having sex with an underage girl were illegally seized.

For three seasons, McMahon’s WWE granted wrestling contracts via the “Tough Enough” MTV reality competition. McMahon is doing it again, but this time, there’s $1 million on the line and a new format. Unlike the previous genderfriendly “Tough Enough” seasons, which had men and women competing against each other to become the next Triple H or Trish Stratus, the fourth venture will see eight men battling for the four-year contract, WWE spokesman Michael Smith told The Associated Press Monday.

Video Music Awards in Miami This year’s MTV Video Music Awards will be held at the American Airlines Arena in Miami, Fla. This will mark the first time the VMA’s are held outside of Los Angeles and New York. Scheduled to appear are Christina Aguilera, Jay-Z, Britney and Ma$e.
