Dear Parents; The mission of the Hialeah Gardens High School is to provide the opportunity for all students, in small learning communities, to receive a high quality, international education that will equip them to compete in our ever-changing, high-tech, global society. In partnership with our local Starbucks Café, Hialeah Gardens High School has transformed a classroom into a modern and hip Reading Place with a coffee house type of atmosphere. Students and faculty members are able to bring a book or pick something to read from within the Starbooks Café. While there, they may purchase coffee, and lattes just like at Starbucks for a nominal price of $1.00 or $2.00. Starbooks Café will be open every morning 30 minutes before school begins. Students will be able to sit at bistro tables to discuss their current readings or sit along the wall at individual seating areas. Please let us know if your son or daughter will be allowed to visit Starbooks Café in the morning and purchase coffee and/or lattes. Sincerely,
